We ate breakfast in the morning which was not very good. I pretty much had fruit loops and milk. I did see the worlds smallest fruit loop though. After breakfast we drove and drove and drove for a long time. When we arrived we all said “WOW” because we were at the biggest truck stop in the world at Iowa 80. We went in and had lunch . Me and dad had bagels while 7 year old sister had pizza hut and mom the healthier had baked potato . After that we went to see what souvenir s we could find. I found a t shirt but i was too big so I found a different one that was too big but not as big as the last. My sister found a stuffy but then switched to a different thing which was a mood bracket that she is now obsessed with and my dad found a key chain. We stopped for gas and the serif pulled in next to us and went inside. The car looked a little different from the cars in Oregon but mostly the same.
We went to a fossil bed next and it was soooo hot and humid out.My dad said if I found a giant Dino bone we could leave. I did find a bone but not a giant one.
We were driving to the biggest frying pan next when it started to pour. It was dumping loads of rain and it was one of the heaviest rain storms I have seen and that is a lot because we are from Oregon. We went stopped on the side of the road and my dad showed mom the radar for what we would be going through and we just went in to the storm and put on our blinker like all of the iowas were doing. Good thing is that we survived and got a car wash when we went through. We arrived at the biggest pan in the world and I was very disappointed because it was not that big. I though it would be bigger but we did our selfie and pictures fast because it was going to start pouring again in 5 minutes. We jumped in the car just in time before it started to poor. As we drove to dinner I made glow in the dark brackets for my mom and sister.
For dinner we had Mexican one of my least favorite types of food. When we got in I noticed that the wall design was cool because it was smooth and then in some parts looked like bricks. There were also pretty scarves on the walls. The food was not the worst but definitely not the best. I ended up having chips, cheese dip and corn tortillas.
We got a pretty sun set when we were driving to the hotel which was our next stop. When we made it to the hotel we walked in ands saw a white board thing that was blinking different colors. My dad said “do you notice any thing special?”

Well the thing is our name is under the sign which we asked what that meant because our hearts were pumping fast and hard because they were so excited. Our poor little hearts got broken when we found out that we just got more points for staying at the hotel which I was disappointed and sad with. We went to our room and went to bed.
